CaffCalc provides educational caffeine estimates without requiring an account. This policy explains the limited information processed when you use the calculator, optional analytics, and tracker data you choose to save on your own device.

The main calculator sends drink amounts, intake times, bedtime and the selected half-life to the CaffCalc server to return a calculation. These requests are not saved to a user profile or database. Hosting and security infrastructure may process technical information such as IP address, browser details, timestamps and request logs.

The tracker saves drink entries, favourites, bedtime and half-life preferences only in this browser using local storage. This data is not sent to or synced with CaffCalc servers and is excluded from analytics events. It can be removed on the tracker, from Privacy Preferences or by clearing browser data. Anyone with access to this browser profile may be able to view it.

Google Analytics is optional and disabled unless you allow it through the privacy notice or Privacy Preferences. When allowed, it may process page visits, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address and interaction data. CaffCalc uses measurement ID G-V9G3EGRD51. You can withdraw permission at any time. See Google’s Privacy Policy for information about Google’s processing.

Essential browser storage records your privacy selection and supports features you deliberately use, including planner history, favourites and offline app files. Optional analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers only after consent.

Hosting providers process requests needed to deliver and protect the site. Google acts as the optional analytics provider when consent is granted. Links to other websites are governed by those sites’ own policies.

Some articles contain clearly labelled paid links to Amazon. If you follow one, Amazon may process information and use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy notice. CaffCalc does not receive your Amazon account, payment or order details. Amazon may report aggregated referral and commission information to the site owner. Privacy Preferences lets you allow or decline analytics and clear tracker data stored by CaffCalc in this browser. You can also use browser controls to clear site data or uninstall the PWA.

CaffCalc is a general educational tool and is not intended to collect names, contact details, medical records or other sensitive personal information. Do not enter identifying or confidential information into drink labels.
